Sylwia Krasoń – the founder and director of London -based arts organisation Contemporary Lynx, since 2013. Editor-in-chief and founder of the print magazine Contemporary Lynx with a global reach and international distribution, listed as one of the best art magazines in London by Sotheby’s Institute of Art and recommended by Tate Modern bookshop. The editor-in-chief of the online monthly magazine Contemporary Lynx. Vice-president of the Contemporary Lynx Foundation in Warsaw since 2017. Holds a Master of Arts degree in Arts Policy & Management with a specialization in curating contemporary art from the University of London, Birkbeck College (2012) and Master of Arts in History of Art from Jagiellonian University in Cracow (2008). She has got 15 years of experience in the art field, gained through various posts including at Philips de Pury, Saatchi Gallery and Barbican Art Gallery. Co-founder and a curator of a pop-up art gallery (Oct-Dec 2012) at Broadway Market in London. Curator of the exhibition “Bogota. City on the Edge” at Laznia – Centre for Contemporary Art in Gdansk. The author of the interactive workshop programme “Storytelling for Creatives” and “How to make a magazine” supported by Arts Council in England. Experienced conferences’ speaker, workshops’ facilitator and member of jury’s’ panels. Author of texts about art and culture. Author of texts about art and culture. Currently lives in Paris.
